The Blu-devil isn’t really a mythical creature from the dark, underworldly realms, but rather, an Englishman named Steve, living a long way from home in sunny Thailand. He’s a schoolteacher by day and a Blu-ray movie critique by night (and on weekends).
He loves his home theater system, his Blu-ray and DVD collection, and his girlfriend - possibly in that order. His system includes a 50-inch Sony Bravia LCD TV, a Sony Playstation 3 60GB game console and Blu-ray disc player, a Samsung DVD-HD870 player, 7.1 Sony speakers, and Onkyo TX-SR605 amplifier. He currently has over 600 DVDs and 63 Blu-ray movies to date…and counting. He only has one girlfriend.
Movies are his religion, and he was at the head of the Blu-ray crowd during the now concluded Blu-ray vs HD-DVD format war. He keeps himself updated on the latest releases, news, and rumors in the world of Blu-ray.
